You don't have to be a treehugger to believe in responsible resource management, and you don't have to try and make moral arguments for common sense. You don't have to be a liberal Democrat to care about preserving our natural habitat - there are enough health, economic, and even religious reasons to want to reduce waste and toxicity and be good stewards over what God has given us.

Therefore,

* We refuse to treat the earth like a sacred deity or make a religion out of environmentalism.

* We refuse to support governmental mandates on what should be market-based solutions.

* We refuse to sensationalize environmental issues for personal or political leverage.

* We refuse to force our views upon others in the name of progress or treat theories as facts to unfairly influence the public.


Yes, there are conservative Republicans who believe that going green is a good thing - and they network here!

Practical Greening: This Is Not a Religion, People...

It's amazing how when we as human beings catch hold of a good idea, we almost automatically find a way to ruin it.
