Per Ivo's comic, it seems to hold true for all matters that people either overreact or underreact (it that is a word). Where is the middle ground. In reference to the environment, people should recognize the importance it plays in our survival, and further, our quality of life. At the same time, we should not think the sky is falling when scientific research reveals some strange data for a brief period of time. In my opinion, we should proceed with caution recognizing how little we know, how much more we still need to learn about our surroundings, and how we should neither dismiss or elevate data/research until we know definitively what it means. Anyway, that's what I think, not that it is worth the cyber space that is saving it.
